Jesus Alone

We believe that Jesus Christ alone is the only means of salvation for all of humanity (1 Timothy 2:5). We believe that Jesus Christ loves all people from every background and nation in the world. We believe that when people sincerely call upon the name of Jesus Christ they receive forgiveness for their sins, eternal life and gain access to heaven (John 3:16).

Evangelism

We believe in fulfilling the GREAT COMMISSION through the GREAT COMMANDMENT (Matthew 22:37, 38) on a local and global level through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).

Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)

Local Church

We believe the Church is to be a place of vision, mission, inclusion, restoration, acceptance and freedom. We believe that Christians are to champion the cause of the Local Church by reflecting the love, light and life of Jesus Christ. Not only is it important to be connected to Jesus Christ as the chief shepherd and leader of every believer’s life, healthy connection to the Local Church known as the Body of Christ is essential. It leads to a life of fulfillment, fellowship and meaningful Christian relationships. It is in a community of worshipping faith filled believers that we fulfill the great commission & commandment.

Word of God

We believe authentic Christianity is experienced through the equipping of the inspiring principles of the Word of God. We believe we are called to genuine spiritual maturity and discipleship by learning to live out the foundations of the Christian faith taught in the New Testament. Daystar strives to honour an Acts chapter 2 Biblical belief.
